Cameron Brown wins Ironman Germany

It's a done deal! Cameron Brown got the victory at Ironman Germany in Frankfurt. The gun went off at 7am and 2,500 people started their first split, the swim. Brown was in middle of the first wave until he transitioned to the bike. Norman Stadler had a strong race and took the lead. Brown transitioned to the run with a deficit of 8 minutes to Stadler and 6 minutes to Bracht, but after 15km he had already passed Stadler. The chase was on to get to Bracht as soon as possible. At 24 km there was still a gap of 3:45 minutes. With excellent support and a strong will, Brown passed Bracht at 34 km and held on to get the victory at this edition of Ironman in front of 100,000 fans. Congratulations Cameron!
