Red Dog Barks

After an untimely crash in the first moto dropped Tim Ferry from fourth to 23rd place, the Red Dog was fighting mad. In the second moto, Ferry took that aggression and used it to his advantage, going toe to toe with Andrew Short in a battle for second place. The two racers battled back and forth throughout the moto, each of them riding right at the edge of their abilities. Ferry, using experience gained through decades of racing, was able to finally put Short down and take second place behind unbeatable James Stewart.

Ferry has been extremely fast this season but has suffered from poor starts. His next chance for success will be this coming weekend at Budd’s Creek in Maryland.
