Winter X-Games - Rebeaud takes silver

SCOTT Team-Rider MAT REBEAUD takes freestyle moto best trick 2nd place!

After a lot of amazing results in the past year, Switzerland’s Mat Rebeaud brought it to the top again. He flipped himself into first place in qualifying and joined big names Brian Deegan, Jeremy "Twitch," Stenberg and Ronnie Faisst.

Rebeaud flipped to silver in the final, adding a no-handed landing to his saran backflip. The 2006 WX Gold again went to the Militia, this time to Twitch, adding a bookend to the summer X Games best trick gold he won six months ago.

"I just want to ride safe and have fun," said Rebeaud. "I'm just so happy that I am riding here at the X Games."

Mat has been working hard over the last couple years to become Europe’s best Freestyler. He is now living half the year in the U.S. and has gone from speaking almost no English to being conversant in just six months.
