Summer X Games 06: Rebeaud's summary

Summer X Games 2006 - Best trick finals: On Friday night, Mat Rebeaud landed a knack-knack under flip twice (once one-handed) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Mat flipped himself into 1st position until Travis Pastrana, the last man to ride in the best trick final, landed an impressive double backflip and bumped Mat into second. Travis left with the gold and Mat with the silver medal, while Aussie Blake "Bilco" Williams took the bronze home.

"I'm happy to finish number two behind Pastrana," said Rebeaud. "Two years ago, he didn't know me, and I only knew him from TV and a picture in my room. So, now, to be competing with him in the X Games is so cool, it it doesn't matter that I didn’t win."
