Big success for SCOTT at the freestyle.ch

SCOTT Teamrider MAT REBEAUD lived up to his role as the favorite once again and got himself his second «freestyle.ch» title with a Nac Nac Backflip to One Hand Landing in the superfinal in Zürich, yesterday. «It feels good to win a contest at home», the Swiss said. Jey Rouanet from France jumped on the second place and Lukas Weis from Germany ranked third.

More than 45 000 people have been on the Landiwiese in Zurich on the past weekend. The good ambiance, great weather and spectacular contests in the 4 disciplines Freeski, Snowboard, Skate and FMX, made the freestyle.ch 2006 the perfect Freestyle event and a memorable experience to all visitors.

SCOTT’s Freeskiing team rookie Henrik Harlaut from Are, SWE, took part as youngest rider at the freestyle.ch, he finished with the 14th place on the big air. Freeskier Tim Russel, USA, SCOTT int. eyewear team, was invited too and ended up on the 9th position.

“BIG ED” – SCOTT’s event truck was well visited, the Scott-Verbier bar and the authentic Raclette booth were very busy and part of the good ambiance!
