Strike Team Issue: Ultralight Bike Par Excellence

Mountainbike MagazinMountainbike Magazin (GER) held a big ultralight bike test that was featured in their last issue. Eight bikes were tested. First, the bikes' fatigue resistance was tested in a laboratory in three different simulations: a stand up simulation, a terrain simulation and a jump simulation. Every bike resisted against fatigue (breakage) for 100,000 simulations except two of them. The eight models were then "ill-treated" on natural terrain for a few weeks by the test crew.

Strike Team Issue in actionThe Strike Team Issue showed very good results. Thomas Frischknecht's Replica resisted against fatigue in laboratory tests without any problems and Mountainbike Magazin also mentioned that Scott's extensive R&D and ample experience using carbon fibre confirmed the results.

On natural terrain, the Strike made an excellent impression. It has been called the perfect bike for every situation. Difficult cross country, long tours or freeride...the Strike can do it all!
