The Bike Show – Birmingham
Four races on each of the three days of the Birmingham bike show lures lots of 4X stars to the start gates every year. Big names were once again: Michael Prokop, Eric Carter, Cédric Gracia, Dale Holmes, Guido Tschugg and many others guaranteed an aweseome time in the 4X hall. Without question the most outstanding rider was Michael Prokop. He won every race in which he took part. Also mentionable is Carmine Falco’s performance in the last race of the day, where he came in second despite tough circumstances. Shortly before the start, Cédric pulled down his pants, then got the holeshot out of the gate. The rest of the field was following the naked, white French butt. Carmine Falco must have noticed the naked butt in front of him for the first time on the first double and was still laughing in the air. Still, he tried to keep close and held his second position until the finish line.
In between the races the crowd was heated up with some massacre-like dirt action. Surprisingly everybody was able to leave the place without serious injuries, although it should be mentioned that some people were crawling rather than walking upright.
