Milan - San Remo

The 96th edition of Milano-San Remo, « la classicissima di primavera » is in the books. The “king”, Alessandro Petacchi (Fassa Bortolo) won the classic; second went to Danilo Hondo (Gerolsteiner) and Thor Hushovd (Crédit Agricole) was third. As usual, SAUNIER DUVAL – PRODIR tried a few attacks, this time with Andrea Tafi and Tino Zaballa. Zaballa finished in the top 20 but a chronograph problem occurred and he received no ranking. Actually this result would have ranked SAUNIER DUVAL – PRODIR among the top of the team classification. A nice performance was put in by the young and talented Manuele Mori, who finished tenth. Angel Edo Alsina finished 20th.
