Sven Riederer wins the Thurgau Triathlon

For the pro athletes, the race was carried out over the sprint distances. There were three legs - a 200 m swim, 7.5 km of cycling and a 2 km run.

Sven Riederer was able to take the lead in the second stage, closly followed by his pursuer Reto Hug. He was then able to increase the margin over Hug and at the last running stage, Hug was already one minute behind him, a lead he was able to hold onto over Hug.
