Vogel wins Bundesliga Race in Offenburg

At the Bundesliga race in Offenburg, Germany, Swisspower team riders showed their strong side. From the start, Florian Vogel set the pace and held it for most of the race. With this strong effort, Vogel earned his first victory the 2006 season.

After posting a great result at the first World Cup race of 2006 in Curacao, Nino Schurter again showed strong form. Unfortunately, after much effort, he lost time to the leaders and fell back to eighth place, but was still best rider in the U23 category. Till Marx finished in 12th place (2nd place in the U23 category behind Schurter).
