Villopoto and Townley Podium at High Point

Mount Morris, PA – The AMA Toyota Motocross Lites Championship made its stop at High Point this Memorial Weekend and brought with it some exciting racing. The Monster Energy / Pro Circuit / Kawasaki duo of Ryan Villopoto and Ben Townley made their presence known once again with solid second and third place overall finishes.

In Moto One, Townley uncharacteristically crashed in the first lap. He had to make his way to the mechanics area to fix his wheel before he could continue racing. Amazingly, he battled back from dead last to a 10th place finish. In the Moto Two, Ben kept up his momentum and took a commanding win. RV raced consistently, taking 2nd place in both motos, and 2nd overall for the day.

After two rounds, Ryan Villopoto sits atop the points standing with 91, and Ben is close behind with 83. Keep up the great racing, guys!
