Seb Michaud and Jess McMillan win first stop of FWT
FWT
Scott international team rider Seb Michaud (France), and Jess McMillan (USA) won the first stop of the 1st Freeride World Tour. The Nissan Mammoth Challenge took place Jan. 26 and was the first of five main events of the Freeride World Tour, which is being held for the first time in 2008. The Tour final will be the Verbier Xtreme in Switzerland in March.

Seb’s long experience finally brought him a victory in an event which had been postponed a few times due to bad weather and snow conditions. In the end, big snowfalls on the days prior to the event filled in the landings and allowed the riders to drop big cliffs. Swedish Skier Henrik Windstedt came in second while Aurélien Ducroz was third.

Jess skied strong and as always never hesitated. "I have never competed against such high
caliber women in my life, all these girls can ski," stated Jess. Among the snowboarders, we congratulate Scott rider Cyril Neri who finished third, right behind Alex Coudray (first) and Flo Orley (second).
Congratulations to all our participating riders! For more information on the Freeride World Tour visit: www.freerideworldtour.com
