A good day For SCOTT athletes at Aspen Open

The first day of finals at the Aspen Open proved to be a good one for SCOTT athletes. The sun decided to poke its head out for a little while today to shine on the Buttermilk Terrain Park. There was all kinds of action going on for SCOTT skiers and snowboarders alike. To start off, in women's ski superpipe, Gina Gmeiner finished in fourth place, while Keri Herman, and Sienna Palmacci finished in the top ten. In men's ski superpipe SCOTT young gun Tony Siebert was going huge all day and was rewarded with a spot on the podium in third. Christian Allen skied strong as well and placed right next to good friend Tony in fourth.

In snowboarding, the slopestyle course was going off today. On The X Games course, which features four large stepdowns, SCOTT rider Joe Eddy stepped up and landed himself in second place, while Aspen hometown boy and fellow SCOTT rider Teddy Karlinski took third. Congrats to all the athletes who competed - we will see you guys tomorrow!
