Success continues for Laurent Favre
Laurent Favre at the Airwave
The Tignes Airwave contest took place this week in Tignes, France. 5 different disciplines make this event to a one week snow happening. Due to security reasons it was not possible to do the big mountain Freeride contest. Therefore the highlight was the slopestyle. A huge park was built with two kickers, one step down, one step up and different rails. The freestyle elite from around the world came to battle. Laurent Favre from La Clusaz, France, SCOTT International Freeski Team, came in second. Peter Olenick was third and Charles Gagnier won the slopestyle contest.
One day later the pipe event with night final took place. The perfect shaped pipe was offering high-class riding. At the end SCOTT rider Laurent Favre was again on the podium, 3rd place for Laurent behind the French youngster Xavier Bertoni and Arnod Kugener who won the pipe contest. Congratulations to all those riders.
