Sarka scores gold in Are
After a great early season, with two World Cup podiums in slalom, Sarka Zahrobska of the Czech Republic took gold in the women's slalom at the recent World Championships in Are, Sweden. Zahobska won the first run and managed to stay in front during the second run, finishing ahead of Anja Paerson and preventing Paerson from winning a fourth gold medal at the Worlds.
Zahrobska's gold medal completes the great performances by Scott athletes, who also won silver and bronze, by Swedes Maria Pietilae-Holmner and Patrick Jaerbin.
Scott wishes to congratulate all of them for their exceptional performances.
