Whistler hosts '07 World Ski and Snowboard Festival
The 2007 version of the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival at Whistler included more events, parties, and music than ever. Starting out with the Stompede (a hopped-up slopestyle course), it went on to feature the Old Spice Big Air, the Coca-Cola Rail Session, Superpipe, and finally the Playstation Big Air.
Scott Athletes were out and about, competing, filming, and of course carousing on the town. Big props go out to Ashley Battersby and to Sasha Chernenkoff for placing first and second in the Coca-Cola Rail Session. Other notable results came from Henrik Lampert, Tosh Peters, Charley Ager and Justin Dorey, who were 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th respectively in the Stompede. Other Scott people holding it down in Whistler were Eric Roner, Ingrid Backstrom, John Symms, Joe Shuster, Angeli VanLaanen, Keri Herman, Nina Abramishvili, Gerhard Gross, and Joe Lammers, while even old Moss Patterson made a showing. Here are some random pics…
