Hugo Harrison Claims IFSA World Tour Title
Following three days of bad weather, 80 of the best skiers in the world were blessed with picture perfect conditions for the final day of competition at the IFSA finals. The view from the top of Robert Blanc face at Les Arcs was nothing short of spectacular, yet the rugged face was still treacherous even for these pros.
SCOTT USA's Hugo Harrison made a solid run down the nearly vertical slope, launching off of massive rock cliffs and carving the mountain like a Thanksgiving turkey. Harrison came in third place at Les Arcs and was the overall points leader, winning the IFSA World Tour title. Guerlain Chicherit claimed victory on the third stop of the IFSA World Tour. Chicherit was airing off massive cliffs and tackling the mountain with bomber speed, which definitely paid off with the judges in this competition.
The girls ripped it up by adopting an aggressive approach to the tricky course. Jennifer Ashton claimed victory in Les Arcs with an outstanding performance, securing her the overall IFSA World Tour Title.
This concludes today's programming. Tune in next year for the 5th Annual IFSA World Tour! Ciao!
