Jaquet and Kestenholz Qualify for the Olympics
Gilles Jaquet (CH) and Ueli Kestenholz (CH) both qualified for the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City last weekend during the first ISF (International Snowboard Federation) competition of the season in Laax (CH).
Thanks to their excellent results in Laax - Gilles won the Giant Parallel Slalom and Ueli placed fourth - both riders confirmed their leading positions and earned their tickets to Salt Lake City.
